Earlier tonight, I called many people, including the following:
-Nigel Morton
-Jason Young
-Jamie Collins
-Dave Jenkins
-Russ Olson
-Dustin Mendoza
-Ty Craft
Of these, the only one ready and willing to do something when I called was Jamie Collins, so he and I went and saw Small Time Crooks. It was awesome; very funny. Essentially it's the first movie besides Gladiator that I've seen in the theatre this summer. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll see either Fantasia 2000 or Titan A.E.. Of movies that are currently out, I would also like to see Road Trip; Croupier; Gone In Sixty Seconds; and Shaft. This Friday night, I hope to go with Bill Simpson and perhaps some others to see X at the Tivoli. It's some animé film that made its St. Louis debut as part of the Tivoli's "Insomniac Ensemble" (where they show various films at midnight on Friday and Saturday nights during the summer). I work 'til 10:00PM (or whenever I finish paperwork) that night, so hopefully I'll be able to make it to the midnight flick in time. Should be fun. I also hope to see Chicken Run soon after its initial release. Phew!
I also recently saw Mallrats and Go, and I liked both; both were rather humorous (in diff'rent ways and for diff'rent reasons). I have work at 9:00AM, so I'd do best to get to bed now (it's about 2:00AM). I haven't been the best about getting sleep for the last several nights (and months, to be honest). Seven hours is quite a lot for me, in fact. Over 'n' Out.
