I saw these dudes do their show last year and it was awesome. The picture above is from a sketch about a police officer and his spider of a partner (see the glove on Andrew's hand). This was probably among the best events I attended in 2009, hands down. They are extremely well-rehearsed, extremely funny, extremely bizarre...just incredible stuff. In a single phrase, it's kind of like avant-garde sketch comedy I guess. It's just really great, whatever it is.
They're comin' back to town--next week--they'll be at Stirrup Pants Chapbooks on Monday, March 15th, at 7:30PM. You can read what I said about it after getting home from it here and more reflections on it from the following day here. I cannot recommend this show highly enough. It has nothing to do with me, really, but you are doing yourself something of a disservice by not attending.
Also, I got the call today (from Han) to open for that Long Form Improv Comedy Jam at Lemmons tomorrow (Tuesday 03/09/MMX, 8PM) night if anyone is interested. It was pretty fun last time, and I was actually intending to go anyway, but I guess maybe now I'll get some free pizza out of it, and get to perform a little.
