I just got back from visiting Lori (Morgan) at Steak 'n' Shake, where she works. Today, I received my keen limited edition box set containing Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. Dick Tracy should be comin' in the mail soon; hopefully sometime this week before I leave. I'm working Monday through Thursday this week, and going to California on Friday. I wonder if Lise Johnson is in California yet, or where she is, or when she's going. Mark made it sound as though she was still in Belgium, which I'm inclined to believe.
Went to a party at Angie (Cornish)'s house on Friday night. It was a farewell party for Angie and Carrie (Loeffel). Yeah, now they're gone. I got The Big Brass Ring for Carrie as a going-away present; read former journals to find out what the significance of that is. I didn't/don't know Angie well enough to get her a going-away present, but hats off to you anyway, Angie, for reading my journal in the first place (and for bein' such a keen person).
Last night, I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with my brother late at night; that was keen. Such a great movie; I had fallen asleep while watching it a few nights before with my other brother and my sister.
Today on the way to work (I walk to work, for those of you that don't know), it was all hot and blazing when I started out, and by the time I was about five minutes away from work, it started pouring out of nowhere. Kind of the same thing happened yesterday when I went to the airport to pick up my brother, and drove around and around the thing cuz he wasn't there; turns out he caught a later flight (curses). At any rate, I got all wet today, but it felt nice and refreshing after having to walk in the scorching heat. Besides; I found 35¢ on my way to work, and that's more than the average person earns on his or her way to work. Much more.
Now, I can do naught but look forward to the hectic life which will be brought by this week, and hope that it goes by quickly until I'm in California...then it's relax, relax, relax. I'll try to get online while I'm out there; after all, I'm mainly going out to help my Grandmother and Step-Grandfather hook up/learn about their new computer.
Speaking of knowing stuff about computers: Does anyone know if/how I can change my livejournal to show more than just the last twenty entries?
Over 'n' Out.
