Izzy the Pug-Dog that lives here died yesterday. It upset me greatly. We think it may have been this rare, pug-only disease called PDE (Pug Dog Encephalitis--seriously, only pugs can get it, and it is characterized by atrophied muscles, lethargy, and seizures). She was only 10 years old or so, but was the runt of the litter by a longshot (I've always been a fan of runts-of-the-litter, as Bart is one as well, and it makes him, and made Izzy, look much sweeter than normal dogs of their respective breeds). Initially I had been apprehensive about letting a dog stay here even though I loved little Izzy, but in more recent times I had begun to rethink my anti-dog-in-the-house attitude on account of her. I'll miss that sweet little bugger.
RIP Izzy AKA Izzle AKA Mad Izzle AKA "EEE-Utz-Uhl," ~1995-2005. The burial is hopefully to occur tonight. I hope Jaffa has some sweet pictures of Izzy cuz she was an awesome-looking dog.
