DVD Rip-A-Ma-Roo


I never thought I'd be asking this, but at least now that I am, it isn't for the reasons that I feared it might eventually be...

My dogg wants me to put together a demo reel with regard to his acting/performing/emcee-ing/stunts/doin'-nutty-stuff ability. Some of the footage of stuff he's done is on authored DVDs, though. Does anyone out there in Friends Page land know how I can import footage from a DVD to a movie file (preferably MOV) on a Macintosh?

Any help's appreciated. I've done some Googlin' around and haven't found what I'm lookin' fer, though.
